Payment Policy
Payments can be made as a deposit and the remaining balance or the full amount at the time of booking.
A deposit is mandatory to reserve your spot, and are non-refundable.
All prices and payments are processed in USD or EUR. Refunds are also issued in USD or EUR, and any fluctuation in exchange rates between purchase and refund may result in a change to the refunded amount in your local currency.
Payments are non-refundable unless we are able to resell your spot. If successful, we will issue a full refund.
Weather and Conditions
Since we began operating, we have rarely canceled or delayed trips due to weather. However, all trips are subject to weather and sea conditions. In extreme circumstances, such as hurricanes or unforeseen safety concerns, Tania Panes Freediving Expeditions reserves the right to:
Modify itineraries or departure times.
Cancel trips without prior notice to prioritize safety.
In cases of cancellation due to weather or safety concerns, we cannot provide partial refunds for missed activities due to weather; however, alternative activities will be arranged whenever possible.
If the conditions are deemed safe by our team but you decide not to participate, no refund will be issued.
We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected changes or cancellations.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. This should include health insurance from your home country and additional coverage for trip cancellations or interruptions. Proof of travel insurance is required before the trip begins. We recommend DAN or World Nomads (perfect for choosing the exact days you need).
Liability
All activities are undertaken at the participant’s own risk. Tania Panes Freediving Expeditions is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or losses resulting from:
The participant’s own actions.
Actions of other participants.
Actions of staff or external factors beyond our control.
Participants must sign a liability waiver before joining any trips.
Participation and Trip Eligibility
Tania Panes Freediving Expeditions reserves the right to cancel or refuse participation for the following reasons:
The participant does not meet the physical fitness or health requirements.
The participant demonstrates behavior that compromises safety or the success of the trip.
Unforeseen safety concerns.
If we cancel for any of the above reasons, a full refund will be issued. However, we are not responsible for external costs incurred, such as flights or accommodations.
Physical Requirements
Participants must confirm they:
Are in good physical health and able to swim at least 200 meters unaided.
Do not have medical conditions that could interfere with participation (e.g., heart conditions, back or neck problems, seizures, anxiety, or phobias).
Are at least 18 years old. For participants over 55 years of age, a medical fitness letter may be required.
